4-2-0 (1 KO) Morocco

Zakaria Zouggary is a young featherweight who has been causing a bit of a stir among kickboxing followers.

He’s got a very crowd-pleasing style and has been scoring some exciting wins in Japan and on the domestic circuit, with a lot of experienced pundits speculating about his potential in the big leagues.

He’s catching people’s eye because of his exciting style. He is very unpredictable, pulling out all kinds of techniques at any given moment. Flying knees, spin kicks, you name it.

Zouggary says that “unpredictability” is central to his style and that you “never know what to expect” when he fights.

Regarding his route into the sport and his life up to this point, he says only that he had a “great childhood” and got into kickboxing because he “saw it and liked it”.
