Born on the edge of the capital city of Bangkok, Chommannee is one of the most highly-decorated female fighters ever to come out of Thailand.
Thai fighters generally begin learning the art at a very young age and Chommannee is no different. Her training started when she was eight years old, although she didn’t turn professional until she was 19.
In her homeland, she is best-known for winning the “One Million Baht” tournament staged by the Muay Thai Angels organization in 2015.
This was a significant competition which brought together sixteen of the world’s top fighters in this category and had them compete over several stages in a Grand Prix format, until one of them emerged as the winner.
Success in Thailand brought her to the attention of international Muay Thai promoters looking to test their own fighters.
Chommannee is thus known outside of Thailand to Muay Thai aficionados across Europe and beyond, thanks to fights in France, Spain, Russia and elsewhere.
