Danenberg
6-2-0 (2 KO) Netherlands

Born and raised in Hoorn, he started training with Clyde Petres at Petres' Gym aged 15. Danenberg already has a number of titles to his name, including European titles (IRO; IKBF) and world (IRO; FIBA).

He works two days a week in a package distribution centre to supplement his income but the rest of his time is spent training and focusing on his career. He also teaches two days a week at the gym.

GLORY heavyweight Errol Zimmerman gave him the nickname Mr Cool after remarking that he always fights with an impassive face and always seems so cool and calm in the ring.

“Whenever I have to fight, I'm actually quite calm and relaxed and I am never nervous. That's why I got the nickname,” he says.

He debuted at GLORY 31 AMSTERDAM against the hard-hitting Spaniard Maximo Suarez and had all his friends and family present. He won the fight and looked good. Now he's setting his sights on reaching the very top.

“I want to tackle the entire welterweight division of GLORY, no matter who is in front of me, because I fight anybody. Preferably against the fighters that are ranked as high as possible, because that is better for my name,” he says.
