Taylor Krahl's father Roger Krahl is one of the unsung heroes of the early MMA years. He was a key part of what became American Top Team during its foundation period, with ATT going on to become one of the most successful MMA teams ever.
"I was born in this sport. My father had a karate and kickboxing gym and I was competing in tournaments from the age of five," says Taylor.
"I would go to school then right after school I would go to the gym, train all evening then home to bed. That was my youth.
"Nowadays it’s my wife, my family, my kids that motivate me and make me want to show them that anything is possible if you put your mind to it."
Krahl trains and fights out of American Top Team Sunrise in Sunrise, Florida.
